The drive

The new motorway through the Moračica bridge and a chain of tunnels replaces the old canyon road. 75 km, about an hour in good conditions.

From November to April the car carries winter tyres as required by law, and snow chains are in the boot. If you are travelling with skis or boards, say so when booking — a saloon boot only takes so much, so we solve it in advance, not at the kerb.
