Day tours with your own driver

The same car, the same drivers — booked by the day instead of by the transfer. You set the pace, decide where to stop and how long to stay, and there is no group of forty people to wait for.

Six days out from Podgorica or the coast

Every tour is private: one vehicle, your group only, quoted as a flat price for the day in euros, including the driver, fuel and all road costs. Entrance tickets and boat rides are paid on the spot so you only pay for what you actually do.

8–9 hours

Kotor, Perast and Our Lady of the Rocks

The Bay of Kotor at its best: the walled town of Kotor, a boat out to the island church at Perast, and the coast road back past Risan and Morinj. Add the Lovćen serpentines for the view that puts the whole bay in one frame.

6–7 hours

Lovćen, Njeguši and Cetinje

Up the old road to the Njegoš mausoleum on Lovćen, a stop at Njeguši for prosciutto and cheese, then the old royal capital of Cetinje with its monastery and museums.

5–6 hours

Lake Skadar and the Rijeka Crnojevića bend

The famous horseshoe bend seen from the Pavlova Strana viewpoint, a boat trip among the water lilies, and wine at a family cellar in Crmnica on the way back.

5 hours

Ostrog Monastery

The monastery built into a vertical cliff at 900 m, the most visited pilgrimage site in the country. We drive to the upper monastery where the road allows and wait while you visit.

10–11 hours

Durmitor, the Tara canyon and the Black Lake

The long day north: the Tara bridge, the deepest canyon in Europe, the Black Lake under the Durmitor peaks. Best from May to October.

8 hours

Shkodër and the Albanian border

Across the Sukobin crossing to Shkodër — Rozafa castle, the old bazaar and the lake from the other side. Passports required for everyone in the car.

How a private day works

We agree a start time and a rough plan the evening before. The driver picks you up at your hotel, villa or apartment, and the itinerary belongs to you from that moment — if the light at Pavlova Strana is worth another twenty minutes, you take another twenty minutes.

Drivers speak English and know the country properly, but they are drivers, not licensed guides. Where a licensed guide is required, or where you would simply rather have one, we arrange it and quote it separately.

Combining a tour with a transfer

A tour on the day you arrive or leave often costs less than doing both separately: we collect you from Podgorica Airport, spend the day on the way, and finish at your hotel on the coast — or take the long way back to the airport on your departure day, luggage in the boot.
